What makes a strong pitch

Propose one focused subject and explain the particular choices, examples or questions the piece would examine. A good pitch shows why the idea suits our readers, what its central point might be and how it differs from a general introduction. We value careful observation, readable prose and claims that can be supported without overstating the evidence.
